Steve and Lesley Alexander established Glover in 1988.
The business, based in Mount Maunganui provides plumbing, gasfitting, roofing and solar water heating services to clients throughout Papamoa, Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty.
Our apprentice comes from a heating and ventilating background chosen for his skills, professionalism and integrity, he has become a valued member of our team.

Be assured you are working with a tradesman who has the knowledge to carry out complex repair jobs or custom design plumbing, gas and solar water heating solutions to meet your needs cost effectively.
Steve has approval from the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board to self certify all gas installations and supervise onsite staff training in association with the Industry Training Organisation.

Don’t settle for an inexperienced or unlicenced tradesman to try and reduce cost.
You may end up with a job that doesn’t meet your needs, is of poor quality and may not comply with legal requirements. This could cause problems further down the track if you need to lodge an insurance claim, you may not be covered. Plumbers, gasfitters and drainlayers are required by law to carry a current licence card, be sure to ask to see it!
As certified gasfitters we sign off alterations and new gas installations ensuring they meet legal requirements. Code of compliance certificates are issued to clients and registered with the Plumbers Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board. Craftsman Plumbers are fully qualified tradesmen who continually up skill to ensure they provide clients with a superior, professional service every time.

EECA approved installer
EECA is the organisation set up by the New Zealand Government to encourage, support and promote energy efficiency, energy conservation, and the use of renewable sources of energy. EECA provides grants to property owners who choose to install eligible solar water heating systems.
As an approved installer Glover can help clients choose the right water heating system and assist them to apply for an Energywise grant to help towards installation costs.
